Leighton

Funeral for Robert Henry Spells Jr., 68, of Leighton will be Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Oscar "Chip" Broome officiating. Burial will be in Ferguson Cemetery, Town Creek. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Spells, who died Friday, March 25, 2011, at his residence, was born August 8, 1942, in Louisiana to Robert Henry Spells Sr. and Abbie Mae (Clovard) Spells. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. and carrier for Freight Management, Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three children.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Fay Spells; two sons, Ronald Dean Spells of Indiana, and Roger Renfro of Kentucky; daughter, Tammy Lynn Renfro of Kentucky; four grandsons, Austin Renfro, David Allen Lang, Joshua Brennen and Dylan Spells; two granddaughters, Makensley Renfro and Alanna Spells; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Austin Renfro, Keith Green, Chad Little, Casey Little, Ronnie Little, Doug Little, Tommy Blankenship and Jimmy Crumpton.
