MISSION - Erasmo O. Elizondo, 75, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
He's preceded in death by his wife, Guadalupe Elizondo, two daughters Emma C. Elizondo and Esmeralda Elizondo, a son, Eloy Elizondo, his parents, Ismael and Margarita Elizondo.
Mr. Elizondo is survived by 5 son; Erasmo JR., Enrique, Ismael, Ernesto (Veronica), Emiliano Elizondo, and 3 daughters; Elda (Domingo) Hinojosa, Esther (Rogelio) Alvarez, Edna (Oscar) Farias, two brothers; Edwardo and Eloy Elizondo, four sisters; Eva Leal, Esperanza Braunfield, Esmeralda Elizondo, Linda Segundo in addition to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Elizondo worked for many years as a chef, enjoyed reading the bible and lately loved traveling. He will be greatly missed by family and friends; especially the two loves of his life, Enrique & "Pini".
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a 7:00 pm rosary today, March 27, 2011 at Ric Brown Family Funeral in Mission, TX. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, March 28, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen, TX. Funeral Services are under the directions of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home.
