CANDOR--George M. Horton, 75, of Owego St. died at his home Saturday, Sept. 6, 1969, after a long illness.

He was a retired certified public accountant and had worked for the Federal Land Bank, Binghamton, for a number of years

He was born July 10, 1894, in Montrose, Pa., son of the late George and Marcella Otis Horton. He was a member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Athalia Hayes Horton, two daughters, Mrs. T. Jayne Plotkin of Orange, Mass., and Mrs. A. Virginia Lupien of Worcester, Mass., one grandson, three granddaughters, and five great-grandchildren, and nephews, nieces and cousins.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Allen Memorial Baptist Church. The Rev. Robert Gravley, pastor, and the Rev. Urban Kline, former pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Binghamton.

Friends may call at the Allen Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
