Linda A. (Barrett) Bois, a lifelong Bridgewater resident, died March 21, 2011, in the Southeast Rehabilitation Health Care Center in North Easton, surrounded by her family, at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry J. Bois for 46 years. Born in Stoughton, she was the daughter of the late Maria (Perdigao) and Antonio V. Barrett. Linda was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren in Bridgewater. She was the loving mother of Henry J. "Jack" Bois Jr. and his wife Lois of Northboro and Sheryl A.Colburn and her husband David of Bridgewater; beloved grandmother of Lyndsay Bowen, Bethany and Krystina Sousa, Jacqueline Bois, Jonathan Colburn and the late William Bois; great-grandmother of Caen Bowen; devoted sister of Robert Barrett of Easton, Elsie McClellan of Dennis, Sadie Gilbert of Brockton Dorothy Bowker of Brockton, Elizabeth Taylor-Goodman of Dennis and the late Anthony, John, Arthur, Rollo and Fred. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater, Wednesday at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater, at 9 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8 p.m. Burial in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
