(special thanks to John Burgess for the following info) - I have seen the marriage to Anna Mary Robb He married Talitha Cumi Haddon in 1855 and they had at least 5 children before he passed away and she was still living in 1880. The reason people miss this is he is listed as being born in 1824 on the 1860 census but once you blow it up it shows him as 56 years old. Plus, I found Lawrence Oscar Cowan buried in Arizona and have asked for him to be tied into the other memorial. Everyone has him a female Laurens on Ancestory. I found his passport and it has him born in Due West to Captain John Cowan.
