Alta Arminta HUDSON, 84, Retired Tigers Apartments, Warsaw, formerly of Akron, died at 7:20 a.m. Friday in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born June 30, 1901 in Miami County to William Cloyd and Nellie KRIEG KERCHER. She had lived in Akron before moving to the Retired Tigers Apartments in 1980. On July 26, 1919 at Warsaw, she was married to William Frank HUDSON, who survives. She was a member of the First Brethren Church of Warsaw, the Friendship Sunday school class, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Purdue Home Project and Keepin'-On extension clubs.
Surviving with the husband are two sons, William F. HUDSON Jr., and Jerry C. HUDSON, Sr., both of Mentone; a sister, Retha MOLLENHOUR, Mentone; six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the King Memorial Home, Mentone. Burial will be in the Gilead Cemetery. Friends may call for an hour before services.
