Katie May Allyn died at the home of her parents in this city, last Saturday night, December 13, aged 2 yeas 1 month 17 days, after an llness of only forty-eight hours. Deceased was the only daughter of Mr and Mrs Alfred Allyn, who likely moved to this city. The father is the son of David E. Allyn, editor of Fur and Wool. The father and mother, grandfather of a little son are all who are left of his Allyn family in America, so far as known. The sympathy of the community will go out to the family in their bereavement. Mrs David E. Allyn lived at jGrinnell, Iowa, but a sort time ago, which makes the death of the little granddaughter all the harder for the doubly bereaved grandfather to bear.
