Elbert F. Price Sr., 88 of Eaton Township passed away unexpectedly at EMH Regional Medical Center on Sunday, June 13, 2010.
He was born June 6, 1922 in Elizabethton, TN and had been a resident of Eaton Township since 1963.
He was a WW II U.S. Army veteran veteran and had retired in the early 1980's from Ford Motor Company, Brook Park where he had worked as a Piston Setter. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and small engine repair.
Elbert was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church in Grafton.
Survivors include sons, Eddie (Barbara) Price of Eaton Township and Ricky Price of Banner Elk, NC, daughters, Doris (Robert) Miller of Lexington, KY, Wilma (Steve) Marks of Shepherdsville, KY and Phyllis Drummond of New York, NY and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah (nee Shepherd) in 2006, his parents, Rosa Belle and Banner Price, and by 2 sons, Elbert, Jr. and David Price.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday. Rev. Ed Kennedy, pastor of the Free Will Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.
