Jimmie Lee Scoggins, age 65, living at 335 North Denver St., Jackson, MS died on Sunday morning at Hinds General Hospital in Jackson. A former welder, he was a retired insurance salesman. He and his wife Lula Mae Love Scoggins were married on June 2, 1933 at French Camp in Panola County, Mississippi. He was the son of the late Benjamin Robert Scoggins and Rose Anna Parkerson Scoggins. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Bessie Hazel Scoggins and Ida Estell Scoggins. He is survived by his wife, Lula Mae Love Scoggins, his sister Emma Mae Scoggins Ray (Edward); his brothers, Burlon Daniel "Slim" Scoggins (Lenora), Grady Lovin Scoggins (Christine), and Elzie Levi "Mutt" Scoggins (Ina); his son Robert Lee Scoggins (Lillian); his daughters: Margaret Ann Wright (Walton), Annie Lou McPhail (Bobby), Linda Joy Chrestman (David), and Barbara Jean Tiebe (Charlie); 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
