Mr. Dan C. Huddleston, 70 years of age, of Albany, Route 3, died at 8:56 pm Tuesday, December 6th, at the St. Joseph Infirmary, Louisville.

Mr. Huddleston was a well known farmer, a magistrate of Clinton County, former county judge, and former assistant postmaster at Albany. He was a member of Albany Lodge No 206 F.F. & A.M.

Mr. Huddleston became ill last week and was taken to the Maple Hill Hospital, where he underwent an operation. He was taken to Louisville early Tuesday morning of this week.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Carrie Huddleston, three daughters, Mrs. Wilma Craft, Mrs. Elizabeth Grider of Albany, and Mrs. Mary Marks of New Castle, and six sons, James, Billy G. and Earl of Albany, Andrew of Louisville, Cleveland and Kenneth of Indiana, three brothers, Kay, O. E., and Elam, five sisters, Mrs. Roxie Perkins, Mrs. Amelia Bertram, Mrs. Bertha Smith, Mrs. Audrey Stokes, and Mrs. Hanna Bolinger, 27 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral was held at the Albany Christian Church, 2:00 pm Thursday, Rev. Payton and Rev. Cook officiating. Pallbearers were members of Masonic Lodge No 206. Burial in the Albany Cemetery with Masonic honors.
