Services for Harry A Duffey, 80, Lake Crystal, who died Thursday at the Lake Crystal Health Center, will be held at 10:30 am Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, Lake Crystal, with the Rev. Stanley Propp officiating. Burial will be in Minneopa Cemetery. Visitation is from 3-5 and 7-9 pm Friday at James Funeral Home, Lake Crystal and one hour before services at the Church.
Mr. Duffey was born to Lester and Minnie (Billings) Duffey on Feb 27th 1901 near Mankato. A life time resident of Blue Earth County, he married Florence Kollmann in Mankato. He was a retired farmer and had been a resident of Lake Crystal Health Care Center for the last 3 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lake Crystal.
He is survived by a daughter, Joyce (Mrs. Francis Sorensen), rural Lake Crystal, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Dorothy Duffey, rural Lake Crystal, a sister, Mrs. Olive Jones, Good Thunder, nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence in 1980, a son Kenneth, a sister Nellie and a brother Paul.
