Age 85, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2011 at Christiana Hospital. A woman of great wit, humor and determination, she was the centerpiece of family & friendly gatherings. Anna had a passion for poetry & wrote rhymes for every occasion. She retired from a career as a bookkeeper for Child Abuse Prevention Effort (CAPE). Anna was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Fred Cohen; her brother, Jack Brown; her sister Edith Levey; her children, Neil Kauffman, Helene Rudnick and Sherri Smith; her grandchildren, Cameron, Jacob, Adam, Joel, Jodi, Aaron, Jessica, and David; her great-grandchildren Joshua and Alexandra; and Fred's children Marcia Sklar and Susan Cohen; grandchildren David and Lisa and great-grandson, Max Ryan.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 27 at 11 am at The Jewish Community Cemetery, Foulk Rd., Wilmington DE.
