CUMBERLAND,MARYLAND ---- Lewis F Wilson, aged 88 years, one of Cumberland's oldest citizens, died at 1:30 o'clock this morning at his home, 290 Central Ave, after an illness of three weeks.
Mr Wilson served in the Civil War having been a member of Mosley Guerilla Company of the Confederate Army, serving from the opening to the close of the conflict. He was a member of St Patrick's church from which place the funeral will take place Saturday morning. Burial will be in SS Peter and Paul's Cemetery.
Mr Wilson is survived by his wife and six children as follows: Miss Belle Wilson, of Cumberland: Mrs. Meyer Wolfson, of New York: Mrs Eli Wilson, of Cumberland; Miss Justine Wilson, of New York: Clifton J Wilson, of Mt. Union, Pa., and Edward Wilson of Montana.
