Beloved wife, mother, aunt and friend passed away Sunday August 30, 2009 at the Cartwright Care Center at the age of 61 years.
Nancy was born January 17, 1948 in Saginaw, MI. the daughter of Arlene Lehr and the late John Lehr.
Nancy married Alan Hales on September 19, 1978 he survives her.
She graduated from Saginaw High School class of 1966. She was an advanced master gardener.
She was a member of the Horticulture Committee of the Saginaw Children's Zoo where she worked at the Butterfly Exhibit.
She was employed at Saginaw Valley Bone and Joint for the past 10 years. She was previously employed at Garb-Ko Inc.
She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
Surviving besides her husband Alan, she is celebrated in life by step-children; Elizabeth R. (Peter) Hales, Steven Alan (Pam) Hales; grandson Benjamin M. Hales, granddaughter Rebecca E. Hales. Also surviving are one brother Carl (Maxine) Lehr and her mother Arlene Lehr. Nancy will be dearly missed by her sister Karen Hales Hull of Mt. Vernon, MO and many nieces and nephews.
