Page 624 of Coweta Co. Chronicles.    His picture is on page 624.  He was a Capt.  Confederate Soldier.  March 11, 1862 enlisted in Co. D, 41st Ga. Reg. under Capt. J.W. Powell.  Was with General Joe Johnston at Bentonville and Kingston in North Carolina.  March 19, shot through the right shoulder, fractured the collar bone.  Was in Perryville, Atlanta, Baker's Creek, seige of Vicksburg, Missionary Ridge, Resaca, Jonesboro, Palmetto, and Nashville.  Never said "Go Boys" but always "come boys."
