Hattie Daniels, 59, of Ellenton died Monday, July 19, 2004, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 24, at Mother Easter Baptist Church with the Rev. E.H. Hopkins and Bishop David Towns officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Borough Cemetery in Ellenton. Carey Jackson, Timothy Jackson, Carey Jackson Jr. and Arthur Fields will serve as pallbearers.

Born Jan. 29, 1945, in Ellenton, Mrs. Daniels was the daughter of the late Flaxie M. Troupe Sr. and Jessie Pearl Jeffery Troupe. She was married to the late Cornelius Daniels. She was a member of Mother Easter Baptist Church and was retired from Riverside Manufacturing Co.

Mrs. Daniels was preceded in death by one sister, Mae Francis Brown.

Survivors include one daughter, Vernita Ann Key of Ellenton; two grandchildren, Anthony Bernard Troupe and Shannon Key, both of Ellenton; four brothers, Flaxie M. Troupe Jr. and wife Janie of Ellenton, Johnny Troupe and wife Minnie of Chattanooga, Tenn., Thomas Troupe and wife Joelia of Haywood, Calif., and Samuel Troupe of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sisters, Irene Purdy and husband R.C. of St. Petersburg and Willie Pearl Herring and husband Leo of Ellenton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
