Mrs. Childress died April 22, at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, after a lengthy illness.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Spivey of Adkins, Texas and Mrs. Nelda Walker, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado; three brothers, Mr. Harold Feuge of Fredricksburg, Texas, Mr. James Feuge of Llano, Texas, and Mr. Arthur Feuge, Jr. of Johnson City, Texas; six sisters, Mrs. Mary Schmidge of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Gretchen McKinny of Llano, Texas, Mrs. Gertrude Morris of Austin, Texas; Mrs. Irene Sanford, Mrs. Anna Mae Haines and Mrs. Georgia Williams, all of Fredricksburg, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Curtis Childress, Ron Wyant, Edwin Carter, Gordon Whitten, Jr., Ronnie Stamper and Charlie Wyant.
