Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Henry and Sallie Reams DuRant. She was the widow of R. Frank Kolb.
She was a graduate of Winthrop College and a member of Washington Street United Methodist Church and Susanna Wesley Sunday School Class.
Surviving are a son, Oliver Senn Kolb; five sister, Lurline Pate of Columbia, Hattie and Marie DuRant and Baylis Buddin all of Sumter, and Janie Alvarez of Mexico City; and a grandson.
Burial will be in the Sumter Cemetery.
