WILLIAM WABLE DIES HERE TUES.
William H. Wable, aged 68, 1336 East Chestnut-st, died at his home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from complications of diseases from which he had been suffering for the past several months.
Mr. Wable was the son of William and Ellen Wable. He was born in Bedford-tp. June 23, 1856.
With the exception of the past two years, which he spent in this city, he was a lifelong resident of the Tunnel Hill vicinity. He had been a farmer until he came here.
On November 30 he married Martha C. Howell to which union eight children were born. One daughter, Minto M. Wable preceded the father to the grave 30 years ago. The surviving children are: Mrs. Davis G. Lowery, Mrs. James A. Hughes, Mrs. Emmett Lowery, all of Coshocton, Mrs. Dorsey Parks, of Tyndal, Mrs. Samuel Shaeffer, of Columbus, Fredrick W. and J. C. Wable, both of Newark.
His widow and 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.
He was the last of a family of 14 children.
Short funeral services will be held at the residence and from the residence the procession will go to Smith Hill church where final rites will be held. Interment will be made in that cemetery.
