DEATH OF MRS. LOWERY
Mrs. Sarah Jane Lowery, age 75, died at her home at Harrodsburg in the early hours of this morning from cerebral hemorrhage. She had been ailing for some time and recently was confined to her bed. Her husband, E. M. Lowery, survives her and two sons and five daughters: L. T. Lowery of Harrodsburg and William of Worthington; the five daughters are- Mrs. Cora Taylor of Harrodsburg, Minnie Morgan of Terre Haute, Maude Smith of Clay City, Mrs. Ollie Burks of Bloomington, and Mrs. Henry Taylor of Harrodsburg. Two sisters surviving are: Mrs. James Hazel and Mrs. Will Carson of Harrodsburg and a half brother is Leonard Treadway of Bedford. The funeral notice will be announced later from the Allen Funeral Home.

FUNERAL OF MRS. LOWERY
The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Jane Lowery, age 75, will be held at the Methodist Episcopal Church of Harrodsburg Thursday at 2 PM. Rev. Arthur Pritchet will officiate and burial will be made in the Harrodsburg Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Wilbur Burks, V. Taylor, Leet Lowery, Glen Burks, Culver Lowery and Merl Taylor. Flower girls will be granddaughters, Velma Lowery, Gail Burks, Gretchen Smith and Kathleen Lowery. Her husband, William E. Lowery, survives her and two sons and five daughters: L. T. Lowery of Harrodsburg and William of Worthington; the five daughters are Mrs. Cora Taylor of Harrodsburg, Minnie Morgan of Terre Haute, Maude Smith of Clay City, Mr. Ollie Burks of Bloomington and Mrs. Henry Taylor of Harrodsburg.
