Mrs. Pauline Brown Boatright, 72, of Bloomingdale, died July 27 at home under hospice care.

The New York native lived here since 1959. She was a charter member of Milton Memorial Baptist Church (now Ash Street Baptist Church), where she taught Sunday school, was a member of the choir and had been active with the church softball team. She was the Bloomingdale Fire Department dispatcher for 30 years and was active with the Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

SURVIVORS: her husband, Clifton Boatright of Bloomingdale; a daughter, Brenda Eddlemen of Guyton; three sons, Clifton Boatright Jr. and John H. Boatright, both of Bloomingdale, and Raymond E. Brown of West Chester, Pa.; two sisters, Edith Juanita Chester of Savannah and Naomi R. Branson of Brunswick; three brothers, Charles W. Rought of Columbia, John P. Rought of South Guyton and Robert George Rought of Port Wentworth; a son-in-law, two daughters-in-law, four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 6-9 p.m. today at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel in Pooler.

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Saturday at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel in Pooler, burial in Westside Memorial Gardens .
