MRS. LUELLA ALLEN
Mrs. Luella Allen, 83, 3404 N. E. Sandy boulevard, died Wednesday. She had resided in Oregon almost all her lifetime.
Mrs. Allen was born June 5, 1870, in Kansas, as her parents were on their way to Oregon by wagon train. Her family settled in Long Creek, and she lived in that area until she married Albert G. Allen and homesteaded in Coos county. She was for many years a piano teacher in southern Oregon, where she lived until four years ago when she came to Portland to live with her daughter, Mrs. Lorena M. Smith.
Survivors include Ihree daughters, Mrs. Smith Mrs. Mina J. Parry and Mrs.Stella McKelvey; three sons, Edward, Ronald and Albert Allen; a sister, Mrs. May Wainscott; a brother, William Lee; three grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
Funeral in care of Colonial mortuary, will be Friday at 10 a. m. at Schroeder's Funeral chapel, Myrtle Point. Burial will be at Norway cemetery, Norway, Or.
