A native of Barrow Co., Pittman was a retired employee of Genesco Shoe Mfg. Co., Lawrenceville. He had just moved from Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd. to Bethlehem and was a member of Hebron Bpt. Church. Suvivors include wife, Bertha Ethridge Pittman; sister, Nellie Ethridge, Mattie Lou Montgomery, Agnes Bagwell and Daisy Peppers; brothers, Paul, and Ralph Pittman; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
