Gladys L. Listenberger Bickel, 83, of Fort Wayne, a Fort Wayne native, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana. She was retired from Supermarket Services and member and past president of VFW Post 857. Surviving are a son, Delbert W. of Fort Wayne; daughters Darlene Goble of Albion and Phyllis Barney of Fort Wayne; sisters Helen Fulk of Wolf Lake and Margaret Repp of Buckeye, Ariz.; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer; five brothers and three sisters. Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 S. Calhoun St., with calling one hour before services. Calling is also from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Visiting Nurse Service's Hospice Home.
