Obit: L. A. "Cram" Rulien, 67, of 1813 Emery St., died in Luther Hospital Saturday night.
He retired in 1960 after 43 years' employment at the rubber plant here. He was a World War I veteran and belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and St. John's Lutheran Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mary; two sons, Warren and Ronald, all of Eau Claire; four brothers, Richard, Werner and Paul, of Chicago, Carl, Hudson; one sister, Mrs. Ebba Hatch, Eau Claire; one half-sister, Mrs. Lois Dascher, Eau Claire; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. John's Lutheran Church will be conducted by the Rev. Roy B. Schmeichel. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
Friends may call this afternoon and tonight and Tuesday morning at the Smith Funeral Chapel and at the church from one hour before services.
