Mrs. Charles Thom, 81, a resident for many years of 10 Tower Place in Faribault, passed away at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Faribault Saturday afternoon, Sept. 23. Funeral services will be held at the Parker Funeral Home in Faribault Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 11 a.m. Interment will be made in the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery in Faribault. Friends may call at the Parker Funeral Home Monday after 3 p.m. and Tuesday morning until the hour of the service. Lillian Bertha Lockkman, the daughter of William and Serena Nelson Lockman, was born at Farmington, July 19, 1891. In 1915 she was united in marriage to Charles Thom at Faribault. They had since made their home in Faribault. Mr. and Mrs. Thom had operated the Tower Hobby Shop in Faribault. Thom had preceded her in death in 1966. Mrs. Thom is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Cecil Adams (Lorraine) of Robbinsdale; by two sons, Joseph Thom of Milwaukee and William Thom of Faribault; by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; by a brother, Fred Lockman of Faribault, and by a sister, Mrs. Victor Dufty (Dorothy) of Milwaukee, by a number of nieces, nephews and by other relatives.
