Eva I.(McCrillis)Grootveld, 97, of Pella, IA, passed away Monday afternoon in the Long Term Care Unit at the Pella Regional Health Center in Pella. Eva, wife of the late William Grootveld, is survived by her son-in-law, Glen(Carole)Van Roekel of Pella; four grandchildren: Wendy Sims of Pella, Becky Maak of Altoona, IA, Vicki Swanson of Harvey, IA, Gregg Van Roekel of Altoona, IA; 11 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ethel Russell of Oskaloosa, IA.
Memorials may be given for the First Baptist Church or the Long Term Care Unit at the Pella Regional Health Center. Visitation begins Thursday afternoon, at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home with family present from 5-7 pm. Funeral service 10:30 am Friday, March 25, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Pella, Iowa.
