Lillie Mae Jones, 88, of Topeka, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at her home. She was born April 6, 1922 in Seminole, OK, the daughter of Charles N. and Sara J. Cravens Houchens. She is a member of Quivira Heights Church of Christ.

Lillie married Floyd B. Jones on September 9, 1944 in Hugo, OK. He survives. Other survivors include their children; Edward B. (Donna) Jones of Topeka, Beverly J. (John) Neal of Milliken, CO, Norman W. (Melisa) Jones of Topeka, five grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Lillie was preceded in death by her twelve brothers and sisters.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Quivira Heights Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. Lillie will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to Quivira Heights Church of Christ, 1718 SW Crest Dr., Topeka, KS 66604. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
