Barclay James "BJ" Hurley, 89, born Dec. 13, 1921 in Birmingham, died March 17, 2011 in Austin, Texas. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include two sons, Jim (Sherry) Hurley of Leander, Texas, and Pat (Jean) Hurley of Houston; daughter, Linda (Steve) McGonigal of Orange Beach; four grandsons, Clint (Christina) Hurley, Seth McGonigal, Mason McGonigal, and Cliff McGonigal; granddaughter, Charlotte (Brent) Henderson; and three great-grandchildren Elijah Hurley, Noah Hurley, and Trinity Henderson. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 25 at Pine Rest Memorial Park. The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311. Arrangements are by Pine Rest Funeral Home Inc., Foley.
