Commemorated on Page 431 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance. He is also commemorated on the Bomber Command Memorial Wall in Nanton, Alberta
Born Abram Rodnunsky into a prominent Jewish family in Edmonton. He initially enlisted in Winnipeg with the Canadian Army, but switched to the air force. He took flight training in Canada, then went overseas and was posted to the RAF base in Tuddenham, Suffolk, with the 90 Squadron RAF. He and his crew mates died in the crash of their Lancaster during a massive overnight bombing raid just after D-Day.
