Tamara "Tami" Fonnesbeck Fuhriman devoted mother and grandmother, passed away at home in the evening of April 4, 2001.

Tamara was born January 1, 1958 in Seattle, Washington to Reed Lamont Fonnesbeck and Myrtle May Olsen Fonnesbeck. She was raised in Logan, Utah where she attended Logan City Schools. Tami was a member of The Church of Jesusu Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married Kenneth Hamilton in 1976. He died in 1984. She married Robert R. Fuhriman February 4, 1987.

Tami's greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. She was looking forward to spending time with her first granddaughter who is due in about four weeks. She was a strong willed, independent woman who taught her children to be the same. Tami was an outstanding mother and homemaker who always took pride in having a home kept in impeccable order. She loved the game of golf and was a member of the Logan and Riverside Country Clubs and always smiled when she reminded her husband that she was the first in the family to record a hole in one. Tami volunteered and participated in many golf tournaments and was the volunteer leader for the NIKE golf tournament at the Riverside Country Club. She also enjoyed her volunteer work at the Logan Regional Hospital and her time working both at a law firm and as a sales rep for C.M.A.

Tami is survived by husband, Robert, children Ashley Hamilton England (James), Tyler Lyle Hamilton, Chase Statton Fuhriman, Traci Ann Barney (Aaron), Joclynn Harryman (Jeremy); two grandchildren James England Jr., and Jackson Barney; mother Myrtle Fonnesbeck Clark (Sam); one sister and two brothers, Joan Preston (Chuck), Douglas R. Fonnesbeck (Trissa), Jerry E. Fonnesbeck (Vicky). Preceded in death by her first husband Kenneth L. Hamilton and her father Reed L. Fonnesbeck.

In the last few years with her illness she was very grateful for all the support from the Relief Society, Young Women, neighbors, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 9, 2001, at 12 noon in the Hillcrest 8th Ward Chapel, 1035 S. 800 East, Orem. Friends may call at Berg Mortuary, 185 E. Center St., Provo, Sunday, 6-8 p.m. or at the Chapel Monday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Interments will be in the Logan City Cemetery on Monday at 4 p.m.

Tami was the second youngest of all us cousins. I remember when she was born how fun it was to sing "Tammy" to her! (So popular around then with the Debbie Reynolds' movies...) Grandma used to boast how much she thought that Tami looked like her. Tami was always active and alert. She loved her kids with a passion!
