Junior Ray Booth, age 78, of the Lane, OK area. Born June 28, 1926, at Cade in Bryan County to Dewey and Lois (Winter) Booth. He passed away Saturday, January 22, 2005 at the Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman, TX.

He was educated in school at Webster in Atoka County. He married Jenettie Pearl Upchurch on February 19, 1947 at Sherman, TX.

Junior worked for Wilson Packing Company in Oklahoma City and retired in 1979 with 29 years service. When he retired he was a scaler. After moving back to Lane he was a rancher. Junior served his country in the US. Army Air Force during World War II. He loved raising cattle and horses and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Pearl Booth of the home near Lane, OK. Daughters, Doris Pasieczny and husband Bob of Glendale, AZ. Shirley Brown and husband Lloyd of Lane, OK. Grandchildren, James Ray Walker and wife Donya of Antlers, OK. Tina Dianne Gray and husband Bill of Atoka, OK. Tammy Doris Daniel and husband Barry of Harmony.Tonya Dianne Cook and husband Mark of Lane, OK. Great grandchildren, Brittaney Daniel, Brantlee Avants, Brooklyn Daniel, Blakelyn Daniel, Cole Walker, Alyssa Gray, Gracee Cook, Lucas Cook and Stephen Cook. Brother, James Clovis Booth and wife Nancy of Blanchard, OK. Sisters in-laws, Catherine Booth of Denison, TX and Bonita Wade of Oklahoma City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Lois Booth. His brothers, Kenneth Lloyd Booth and Randell Dewey Booth.

Date of services: Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at 2:00 pm. Place of services: Brown's Funeral Chapel ~ Atoka, OK. Interment at Butler Cemetery ~ Lane, OK. Officiating: Rev. Dward Justus.
