Mrs. Allen, a graduate of Evans High School and the University of Georgia, was a retired school librarian with over twenty years of service in the Columbia County School System. She was a former member of Evans Baptist Church, a current member of Warren Baptist Church, and Delta Kappa Gamma Educational Sorority. She loved to play bridge, square dance, and read. She was an avid sports enthusiast who followed her beloved Dawgs and Braves. But most of all, she was a wonderful mother, homemaker, gardner, and cook.
