Ethel Mae (Bartley) Loyd 72, of Indianapolis died Friday, March 11, 2011. She was born May 29, 1938 in Tompkinsville, Monroe County, Kentucky. Mae devoted her life to loving and raising her family, which was of utmost importance to her. She is survived by sons; Waymond Earl and Vickie (Riley) Loyd : William Howard Loyd and Tom Stewart: Jessie Wayne and Sandra (Shelton) Loyd; daughters; Carol Sue (Loyd) Bingham, Sandria Gail (Loyd) and Jim Higgs; brother: Royce Lynn Bartley; half-brother Larry Bartley; sister Betty (Bartley) Warfell; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and life-long friend Vicky Sutton. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Raymond Howard Loyd; her father and mother; Jesse Wilson Bartley and Corinne (Parsley) Bartley; her son; Ronnie Loyd; her brother Terry Glen Bartley and her grandson Dustin Wayne Loyd. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Jordan-Gray Mortuary, Indianapolis, IN, with calling from noon to 1 p.m. Reverend Gary Pitcock will officiate the services.
