Lisa Dawn Hinkle, 42, of Keezletown, went to be with our Lord on Jan. 2, 2009, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mrs. Hinkle was born April 21, 1966, in Harrisonburg, Va., and was the daughter of Jimmy and Doris Eppard, who survive.

Mrs. Hinkle was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and daughter to her family.

On Feb. 14, 2003, Lisa married Ricky E. Hinkle, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Heather Eppard of Elkton, and Jessica Hinkle of Keezletown.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Hensley's United Methodist Church with the Revs. Nona Allen and Dawn Marie Singleton and assistant pastor Fuzzy Cardin officiating. Burial will follow at the Hensley Cemetery in Elkton.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton. Family and friends are also welcome to visit the Hinkle home at any time.
