Jimmie liked to keep busy through woodworking, traveling and going to the 50's diner to drink coffee and socialize. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; three daughters, Joy Brewer and husband Gene, Joanie Pickens and husband Michael and Judy Cranford; two brothers, Bobby Gilbreath and wife Doris and Randy Gilbreath and wife Barbara; sister, Betty Starbuck and husband Carl; seven grandchildren: Leah Carter, Tiffany Cranford, Jennifer Thompson, Jessica Hinton, Gina Brewer, Danny Jolliff and Shelby Cranford and six great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, grandson Brian Clevenger; brothers Ed, Tommy and Charles and sister, Liz.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Sunny Lane Funeral Home with burial at Dale Cemetery.
