Deseret News, The (Salt Lake City, UT) - August 9, 1994. Deceased Name: DEATH: DELBERT S. STOUT. Delbert Sherrell Stout, 84, passed away Monday, August 8, 1994 at the Rocky Mountain Care Center in Bountiful. He was born March 18, 1910 in Hinckley, Utah, a son of Hosea Fisk and Martha Sherrell Stout. He married Goldie Alexandra Jensen, June 22, 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She passed away April 17, 1981. He married Melvina Flinders Cluff, October 29, 1982 in the Jordan River LDS Temple. She passed away September 15, 1988. He was reared and educated in Hinckley and had lived in Salt Lake City, West Valley, Manti and Kaysville. He was an active member of the LDS Church and had served as choir director for ward and stake choirs, Sunday School teacher, Stake High Councilman. He had served in the Northwestern States Mission and loved doing temple work. He had worked as a cook at Grabeteria, Dee's Inc., and as a custodian for Granite Park Stake.

Surviving: one son and two daughters, Sherrell D. and Jean Stout, West Valley City; Virginia and William Wilson, and Sandra and Roger Butterfield, all Kaysville; 15 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister, Wilford and Leslie Stout, Bountiful, Utah; Clyde and Jeanne Stout, No. Olmstead, Ohio; Marcella Workman, Tooele. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 10, 1994, 11 a.m. at Lindsquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main St., where friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Wasatch lawn Memorial Park.
