Jean (Misner) Boyd Battle Creek Jean (Misner) Boyd, 91, died at Battle Creek Manor on Monday, January 3, 2011. Jean was born October 18, 1919, in Battle Creek, Michigan to Glenn A. and Maybelle F. (Ritter) Misner. She grew up in Battle Creek and attended Battle Creek Public Schools. Jean retired from the Kellogg Company in 1976, where she was employed for 32 years, primarily in the Packing Department. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Boyd in 1992, by a son, Robert at birth and by her parents. Surviving are her brother, Jerry A. Misner, a niece and two nephews and their families. Jean was a member of the Kellogg 25 Year Club. She enjoyed spending time their cabin in Lewiston, MI, square dancing; and she loved her dog and cats. Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. Robert G. Muirhead in the chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2011. Arrangements are by the Farley- Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home.
