Maggie was the only daughter of Andy and Ella Huebsch. According to a note left by her daughter Leona she was born in Oregon this is still under research. Maggie had four brothers - John Benjamin, George Herbert, Carl, and Edward Earl. She married Cicero Egbert [Bert] Abernathy in Anna, Collin County, Texas, and had five children - Andrew Preston [my grandfather], Mildred Leona, Earl Wesley, Jessie Mae, and Maude Eleane. Maggie died of Typhoid Fever [Salmonella typhi]. She gave birth to 5 wonderful children, I only wish she could have lived longer so she could have enjoyed them as adults. One of her children is still alive and in good health for his age. He will be 90 years old in March 2005.
