Orpheus F. (Bud) Everitt, 58, of Elyria, Ohio, died of a heart attack in Elyria memorial Hospital, March 25.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. March 28 in the Wainright Funeral Home in Elyria. Interment followed in the Ridgelawn Cemetery near Loraine, Ohio.

Everitt was born May 15, 1911, in Otsego Township, Steuben County, to Albert and Leona (DeGaugh) Everitt. He was a graduate of Hamilton High School and a prominent Elyria businessman, who with his son DeWayne, were owner-operators of the Lake Erie Plastics Company in Elyria.

Survivors include his wife, Rosemary; the son DeWayne; a daughter-in-law, Patricia; grandchildren, Kimberly and Jeffrey of Elyria; daughter, Diana Wilder and grandson, Gavin, of Las Vegas, Nevada; his mother, Leona Fee, of Butler; a brother, Paul, of Fort Myers, Florida; one sister, Evelyn Teegardin, of Hamilton; a sister-in-law, Lucille Everitt, of Hamilton; and many nieces and nephews.
