Charles Cziryak Sr. was born November 28, 1920 in Hungary, to Sigmund and Agnes Katona Cziryak and departed this life May 4, 2002, at his home in Lebanon, Mo.

On October 24, 1949 he was united in marriage to Helen Mossbrucker and to this union was born five children of which four survive. Helen preceded Charles in death July 11, 1978. On April 22, 1987 he was united in marriage to Henrietta Priess who survives.

In 1923 Charles and his family came to this country by boat coming by way of Ellis Island.

Charles was a truck farmer in New Jersey, retiring in 1976, moving to Lebanon where he operated a dairy farm; he later sold this business to his son, and went into working with stock cattle. In 2000 Charles sold that business and moved to town.

He is survived by his wife Henrietta of the home, two sons Charles Jr. and his wife Ada of Sewell, New Jersey and Dennis Clyde and his wife Sarah of Lebanon; two daughters, Agnes Cziryak and Bonnie Haddock of Lebanon; two sisters, Ethel Mitchell and Irma Jarman of New Jersey; four grandchildren, Matthew J. Wilson, Tina M. LaChance, Jennifer L. Fernon and Rebecca E. Cziryak and many other friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen, a son-in-law, Wilbur Haddock, a brother, Sigmund and an infant son, Buster. Hough Chapel Cemetery.
