Harold ?Scott? Fox, 48, of Kittanning, Wayne Township, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 14, 1958, in Kittanning, a son of Harold ?Jack? and Mary ?June? (Bowser) Fox of Kittanning. He was a 1978 graduate of Vocational Rehab Center, Johnstown. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors and traveling to Canada. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Cathy A. (Gainvors) Fox, whom he married Nov. 12, 1986; daughter, Carrie J. Fox of Kittanning; three sisters, Brenda (Tom) Luketich of Kittanning, Terri (Bob) Brink of Worthington, and Billie Jo Fox of Arcadia, Ohio; a brother, Aaron J. (Tracy) Fox of Elderton; and a paternal grandmother Emma G. Fox of Kittanning; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John L. and Barbara E. Bowser; his paternal grandfather, Howard L. Fox; a nephew, Joey Heffelfinger; and a cousin, Brian Fox. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the KENNEDY & BLODGETT FUNERAL HOME, where services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Matthew Cornman of St. Paul?s Episcopal Church, Kittanning, officiating.

This cenotaph is located in the extreme northeast corner of Valley Twp, Armstrong County, PA. It is on the south bank of Pine Creek at the intersection of Oscar Rd and SR 1028, where 1028 is a creek fording. (That means there is no bridge here!)
