Funeral of David J. Davies, prominent West Pittston resident and member of the council of that borough, was held yesterday afternoon from the home, 929 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston, and was attended by many friends including borough officials. Services were conducted at the home by Rev. W. John Hill, pastor of First Congregational Church. Burial was in Wyoming Cemetery.

Flower carriers were Harrison Harries, Hartford, Conn.; Henry J. Williams, Brooklyn; Richard Gravell, Hazleton; David Williams, Plains; Henry Davies, Forty Fort; Theodore Goditus and James Davis, Wilkes-Barre; George Kirk, Wyoming.
