Herman was predeceased by his wife Mattie Blanche Berry Beaber whom he married in 1955. The photo to the right was their wedding picture.

Blanche was unable to have children so she and Herman adopted two children. Faith and family were the most important things to Blanche. She was an active wife and mother. Abraham Lincoln said “No man is poor who has a Godly mother.” This could not be more true of Blanche Beaber ... (Our Mom!) JSB
