Mrs. Mary Isom was born in 1889 in Degognia Township in Jackson County. Her siblings include Ms. Minnie Rednour of Ava, Mrs. Edith Pitha of Caseyville, Charles Browder and Andrew Browder, both of Ava, and William Browder of Caseyville.
She married Lawrence Lattina in 1907. He died in 1945. She later married Garold Isom, who survives. Other survivors include children, Ben Lattina of Percy, Clye Lattina of East Carondelet, Charles Latina of Ava, Mrs. Florence Robertson of Dearborn, Michigan and Mrs. Anna May Walker of San Antonio, Texas; and step-daughter, Mrs. Beulah Jerolds of Cambria. One son preceded her in death.
Mrs. Isom died at the age of 66 in St. Andrew's Hospital in Murphysboro.
