Ms. Ruthie Mae Green, age 90 of Sulligent, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services are will be held Monday, March 21, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Hollis Cemetery. Bro. Billy Joe Ives and Bro. James Godsey will be officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6 until 8 P.M.
Active pallbearers will be: John Brandom, Danny George, Robert Guyton, Bobby Guyton, Randy Weeks, Al Merchant and Mike Porter.
Mrs. Green was born January 18, 1921 in Lamar County, Alabama to the late George and Viola Cantrell Young. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Green previously worked at McCoy Mfg. for 23 years. She and Mr. Littleton Green were married for 73 years.
