Vera E. Hoover, 78 widow of Harry G. Hoover, 42 Guilford Avenue, died at Western Maryland State Hospital Monday. Born and reared in Page County, Virginia, she was the daughter of Reuben and Texanna Propes Fultz. She was a member of the Christ Reformed Church and Mary 'n' Martha Sunday School Class.
Surviving are one son, Adolph C. Foltz of Hagerstown; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Clayton W. Foltz of Hagerstown.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Coffman Funeral Home by Rev. Lawrence C. Strunk. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9.
