Nelda LaVern Cook Lyman Mackenzie, 83, passed away June 13, 1993, in Sandy, Utah.
Born September 13, 1909, Fremont, Utah, the daughter of Daniel B. and Martha Alzina Sly Cook. Married James Bernard Lyman; he preceded her in death. Married R. Ross Mackenzie; he also preceded her in death. Active member of the LDS Church. Nelda loved her family and will be missed by many.
Survived by three daughters, Mrs. Robert G. (Velma) Blake, Midvale; Mrs. Robert V. (Leon) Johnson, St. George; Mrs. Fred T. (Bernardine) Wunderli, Salt Lake; 14 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Norman (Eldona) Smith, Bouse, Arizona. Preceded in death by her parents and by nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2 p.m., in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff at Sandy Regional Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center for their loving care.
