Lucie Rae Boyle
Lucie Rae Boyle, 76, of Kingfisher died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at First Shamrock Care Center.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Stephen Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Kingfisher Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Service in Kingfisher.

She was born Sept. 13, 1933, in Guthrie to William (Bill) and Evelyn Elrod McLaugh-lin.

She married Lawrence Lee Boyle on March 21, 1953.

She graduated from Orlando High School, receiving the honor of valedictorian of her class. She attended Oklahoma A&M College for two years.

Lucie studied antique books and was an expert on almost anything. She appraised items for many people and loved antiques and finding a treasure.

She bowled on a league for many years, and loved to work crossword puzzles and go dancing. She cross stitched a quilt for each of her children and started making them for her grandchildren until she wasn't able to anymore.

She loved gardening and grew beautiful flowers around her home. She was a stay-at- home mom and her most treasured collections were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lucie was a friend to everyone she met.

Survivors include her husband, Larry of the home; four daughters, Vicki Rother and husband Frank of Kingfisher, Susan Edwards and husband Harry (Deb) of Upton, Wyo., Mary Trivitt and husband Donnie of Oklahoma City and Rebecca Dougherty and husband Webster of Thomas; two sons, Kelley Boyle and wife Gale of Bartlesville and Thomas Boyle and wife Patricia of McAlester; one sister, Dorothy Resneder of Mulhall, and two brothers, William McLaughlin of Edmond and Jim McLaughlin of Stillwater.

She also has 21 grandchildren, Carey Auschwitz and husband Ted of Bartlesville, Carl Rother and wife Julie of Kingfisher, Sarah Carston and husband Jeff of Fort Collins, Colo., Billy Edwards and wife Ashley of Lusk, Wyo., Megan Edwards of Casper, Wyo., Daniel Boyle and Domni Reherman and husband Justin, all of Kingfisher, Rachel Boyle of McCloud, Russell Boyle and Lauren Boyle of Bartlesville, Andrea Palmer and husband Matthew of Oklahoma City, Tammy Nebhut and husband Cody of Vici, Lesly Fair of South Haven, Kan., Daphnie Boyle, Lee Boyle, Calvin Boyle and Eli Boyle, all of McAlester, Katie Trivitt and Kelsey Trivitt of Oklahoma City and Zoe Dougherty and Ela Dougherty of Thomas; and 10 great-grandchildren, Max, Jack and Claire Auschwitz of Bartlesville, Chloe and Carly Rother of Kingfisher, Preston Coughlan and Parkyr Reherman of Kingfisher, Jason and Hayden Nebhut of Vici, Mak Fair of South Haven, Kan., and Charlee Mae White of Caspher, Wyo.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Laura Lou Fair.
