Sallie Applegate, age 96, a resident of Russellville, died July 22, 2000 at her residence. She was born on December 4, 1903 at Stone County, MO, to Asbury and Julia Jenkins Davis. She was the widow of the late Clon C. Applegate and was also preceded in death by a son Raymond Applegate and a daughter Mildred Ragsdale.
Survivors include one daughter and son in law, Lois and Fred Galloway of Russellville; one son and daughter in law, Joe C. and Edith Applegate of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren.
